The upper harbor in Marquette might still have a remnant of lakers spawning on the rip-rap on the pipes going to the bubbler. All ya need are fluoro orange and/or J-13 brown Rapalas, preferably jointed on unweighted high lines in 8'-20' deep water. The menominees eat the laker eggs which the lakers will attack. Up n down the pipelines and thru the bubblers are the best bet and bonus browns n splake are possible.
FYI from the good ole days when limits were caught as fast as one could get 2 lines out and play a fish. We stopped and played the fish back then, no winching in half drowned fish.
ETA- a 21# redfin laker on 8# test is a gas.
