They work the best when the barrel is still warm. How many gauges/calibers do you have? The reason I ask is a matter of cost. If you need to get more than two, you might want to look at an Otis breech to muzzle kit.

I’ve been thinking about buying bore snake bore cleaners for each of my guns.  Anybody use them and do they work good?

Mityvac MV7201

Mityvac fluid evacuator plus for sale. Many uses for an item like this. I used it for a changing the oil in a boat that I no longer own. It has been used ONLY 4 or 5 times since purchased new. Everything is in the box and it is ready to go!

$100 picked up in Marquette

I use to be able to post pictures on here and now I cannot.  Can someone please share the method in another post?  Thank you! :)

Prior to this weeks snow storm, we had at least 6 to 9 inches of good ice on the whole bay north of Gladstone. The lower bay had just skimmed over on the 3rd or 4th, and probably only had 2 to 3 inches of ice.

After the storm on the 7th, we had 5 to 6 inches of heavy, wet snow. On the 8th, guys said it was very wet and sloppy on the ice, and that they were completely soaked by the time they got to their fishing spots on their quads. Nightime temps have been getting into the teens and single digits, and will continue for the next week, so hopefully most of the slush will be turned to ice by the weekend.

Got several reports that portables were seen off the Terrace, (south of Gladstone,) yesterday. If that's the case, then the area off the Gladstone harbor should be safe again this weekend.

Steelpounder -   You are correct.   They did have some issues with the notification part of the app.   I had issues too until I uninstalled the app I had  and reinstalled the newly modified app.  It all works well now.  Good Luck

Lunker, do you use them often? I bought a couple of them last year. Tried them once. Now, they say the bluetooth is good for about 40yds or so. I had mine at 30' and 60' away. I had one alarm sent to my phone out of 7 flags I had. Undependable in my opinion. But, I see they did do some updates to the app that's suppose to make it more reliable. Going to try again in a few weeks.  (Hopefully)

There is a serious lack of posts on here so far this ice season.  Here is mine, albeit a few days late.

I got out for the 2nd time this year, first time on LBDN this past Saturday afternoon.  Set up on the East Bank 1-2 miles North of Hunters Point.  Had a tip up in 50 fow and then another tip up and jigged in 32 fow.  Had two flags both on the rig in 32 fow, first one broke off as I was pulling it in.  I am guessing it was a Northern, head shaking as I pulled it in and then instantly nothing.  I do not run steal leaders just fluoro and it was cut quite cleanly.  2nd flag I landed and it was a 26" Northern.

Jigging wise I hooked up twice.  First time was a 20"+ Walleye that came off a couple feet under the hole..  2nd time was another Walleye that I landed, 22".  Other than those two fish I did not mark many others at all.

I'll either be inland this weekend or back out in that same area.  Good luck and start posting your outings.

My son got me a couple Blue Tipz tip up lights.   They light up well, fit on most tipups easily and have a feature that calls your cell phone and plays any tone you want when you get a flag.  I love them, no need to continually look for a flag, you will get a notification when that happens.   About $40 each at Cabelas.

Here is the finished project, for now.  They built over the pipes no problem and we had to add the cage around the upstream end of pipes to keep sticks floating down from creating a clog and it’s down in the mud hopefully so beavers can’t get inside to plug the pipes too

How long did it take for the beaver  to plug it back up?
