How to tie trolling flies
Courtesy Mike Paluda (Yooperdad)
Start with a spot of super glue on the thread and tube. I use some old Dacron line I had in the shop.

Trim the end of the mylar to a point where it is to be attached to the tube.

Wrap tightly and finish with several half hitches. Trim tube.

Started using eyes this year that I had for meat heads. Look better than plain, but not necessary.

Trim again, then fold back and coat the thread with fly head cement. I
bought some water soluable cement at Gander that is very easy to use
and not very messy. Dog nail trimmers work great for clean cuts on the
tube.
Hooks set up with 1 glow bead.

Read on GLA that some are using this set up to make storage easier . Just slip a new fly on.
